Property Location and Mapping in Tesoro CRM

Entering address

When adding a property, start with the address field:

1. Type the address in the address field
2. Tesoro's Mapbox integration automatically suggests addresses
3. Select the correct address from the dropdown
4. Coordinates (latitude/longitude) are automatically added
5. Map preview shows the exact location

Address components:

• Street: Street name and house number
• City: City or municipality
• State/Province: Province or region
• Postal code: Postal code
• Country: Country (automatically set)

Automatic geocoding

Tesoro uses Mapbox for accurate geocoding:

• Type address → Mapbox finds coordinates
• Latitude and longitude are stored in GeoJSON format
• Map markers appear automatically on property detail
• Portal sync sends coordinates to Idealista/Fotocasa

Tip: For new constructions or rural properties without official address, you can manually click on the map to select coordinates.

Interactive property maps

Each property has an interactive Mapbox map with:

• Property marker: Exact location of the property
• Zoom controls: Zoom in/out for detail or overview
• Street view: Switch between map and satellite view
• Nearby markers: Show nearby properties (optional)

Maps are visible on:

• Property detail page (large map)
• Property list view (small map preview)
• Client portal (for buyers)
• Public website (if enabled)

Map customization

You can customize map display per property:

• Hide exact location: Show only neighborhood (for privacy)
• Custom marker icon: Use property type icons
• Map style: Standard, satellite, or hybrid view
• Zoom level: Default zoom on map load

Use case: For high-end properties you can hide exact address until a buyer shows serious interest.

Multi-property map view

In property list view you can activate a map view that shows all properties:

• Filters remain active (type, price, bedrooms)
• Markers cluster on zoom out
• Click on marker → property detail popup
• Perfect for location-based searches

Neighborhood description

For each property you can add area information:

• Area name: Neighborhood or district name (e.g., "Eixample" in Barcelona)
• Area description: Short description of the neighborhood
• Area type: Urban, suburban, rural, beachfront
• Popularity: Popular area, up-and-coming, established

This info helps with lead matching when buyers search for specific neighborhoods.

Track important amenities in the area:

Pro tip: For international buyers, international schools and airport distance are very important - highlight these in area description.

Location matching with leads

Tesoro's AI matching uses location data to match properties with leads:

• Preferred areas: Leads specify desired neighborhoods
• Radius search: Match properties within X km of preferred location
• City matching: Automatic match on city level
• Province/region: Broader geographic matching

Example: Lead searches "Eixample, Barcelona" → Tesoro shows all properties in Eixample + score based on other criteria.

Location search filters

Buyers can search by location with advanced filters:

• City search: Select one or multiple cities
• Area/neighborhood: Dropdown with all neighborhoods
• Postal code: Specific postal code ranges
• Radius search: "Show all properties within 5km of [location]"
• Map-based search: Draw area on map → show properties
