Why history tracking is important

Price change history

Automatic price tracking

Every price change is automatically logged with:

  • Old price: Previous price value
  • New price: Updated price value
  • Change date: Exact timestamp
  • Changed by: User who made the change
  • Reason: Optional change reason/notes
  • % Change: Automatic percentage calculation

View complete price timeline:

  1. Open property detail
  2. Click 'Price History' tab
  3. See chronological list of all price changes
  4. Filter by date range
  5. Export to CSV for analysis

Use price history for insights:

  • Time on market: How long at each price point
  • Price reductions: Count and magnitude of reductions
  • Market position: Compare initial vs current price

Property lifecycle tracking

Track status transitions through property lifecycle:

  • Draft → Active: When property goes live
  • Active → Sold: Sale completion

  • Inactive → Active: Return to market

Each status change logged with timestamp, user and optional notes.

Status duration metrics

Tesoro calculates automatically:

  • Days in each status: How long property was Active, Inactive, etc.
  • Total time on market: From Active to Sold/Rented
  • Average market time: Compare with similar properties
  • Status cycles: Count of Active → Inactive → Active cycles

Use these metrics for performance analysis and pricing optimization.

Status change nietifications

Configure alerts for important status changes:

  • Property sold → nietify team + owner
  • Property inactive > 30 days → alert admin
  • Property returned to market → nietify interested leads

What activity log tracks

Property 'Activity Log' tab shows ALL actions:

  • Property created: Who created, when
  • Field updates: Any field change (before/after values)
  • Media uploads: Images, documents added
  • Portal sync: Sync events to Idealista/Fotocasa
  • Deal linkage: Property added to/removed from deals
  • Meetings: Viewings scheduled
  • notes added: Team notes and comments
  • Ownership changes: Assigned to different agent
Activity log filters

Filter activity by:

  • Activity type: Only price changes, only status changes, etc.
  • User: Actions by specific teamlid
  • Date range: Last 7 days, last month, custom range
  • Related resource: Activities linked to specific deal/contact
Audit trail export

For compliance or owner reporting:

  1. Open property Activity Log
  2. Apply filters (optional)
  3. Click 'Export Activity Log'
  4. Download PDF report with:
    • Chronological timeline
    • User attribution
    • Before/after values
    • Timestamps

Complete property history is kept indefinitely, even after property is sold/rented. This is important for compliance and for analysis of past transactions. You can archive old histories but niet delete them. If property is deleted, history remains available for 30 days for recovery.

Yes! Go to Properties → Bulk Actions → Export History. You can set filters (date range, property type, status) and download complete history CSV for all matching properties. Perfect for portfolio analysis, compliance reporting or year-end reviews. Export contains: property ID, change type, old/new values, timestamp, user.
