Navigation Basics Find What You Need Fast

Efficient navigation is crucial for productivity. Tesoro is designed to get you to the right place quickly with minimal clicks. This guide shows you how to use the system optimally.

The sidebar on the left is your main navigation. Here you'll find all modules:

Main Modules

• Dashboard - Your overview and control center
• Leads - New prospects and opportunities
• Deals - Active sales pipeline with Kanban board
• Contacts - All people in your network
• Relations - Companies and organizations
• Properties - Your complete property inventory
• Projects - Development projects and new construction
• Activities - Tasks, calls, meetings, follow-ups
• Calendar - Schedule and planning

Settings & Tools

• Settings - Configuration and settings (bottom of sidebar)
• Help - Knowledge base and support (? icon)
• nietifications - Bell icon top right
• User Menu - Profile photo top right

Sidebar Tips

• Click the hamburger menu to collapse/expand sidebar (more screen space)
• Hover over icons to see labels when sidebar is collapsed
• Active page is highlighted with blue accent color
• Badge numbers show unread items count (e.g. new leads)

Global search is your most powerful navigation tool. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from any page.

What Can You Search?

• Contacts - Name, email, phone number
• Properties - Address, reference number, postal code
• Deals - Deal name, contact name, property address
• Leads - Name, email, phone number
• Companies - Company name

Search Tips

• Partial matches work - Type 'John Sm' finds 'John Smith'
• Search by type - Type '@' for email, '#' for reference numbers
• Recent searches - Your last searches are saved
• Keyboard navigation - Use arrow keys to browse results
• Quick preview - Hover over result for preview without opening

Advanced Search

Click 'Advanced' in the search bar for filters:

• Filter by module (contacts only, properties only, etc.)
• Filter by date (created last week, updated today, etc.)
• Filter by status (active deals, sold properties, etc.)
• Filter by assigned to (my items, team items, etc.)

The + icon in the top right gives access to quick actions:

Create New Items

• New Contact - Quickly add a contact
• New Lead - Create lead from any screen
• New Deal - Start a new deal
• New Property - Add property
• New Task - Create task
• New Meeting - Schedule an appointment

Import Actions

• Import Contacts - CSV upload for bulk contacts
• Import Properties - Bulk property import
• Sync MLS - Trigger manual MLS sync

The quick actions menu adapts based on your permissions and the page you're on.

At the top of each page you see breadcrumbs showing your path:

Dashboard / Deals / Jim Hendricks Deal / Properties

Click any element to go back. This is especially useful for:

• Deal detail pages - Jump back to Kanban board
• Property detail pages - Back to properties list
• Contact detail pages - Back to contacts

Page Title & Actions

Directly under breadcrumbs you'll find:

• Page Title - Where you are now
• Primary Actions - Main actions for this page (Edit, Delete, etc.)
• View Options - Switch between list/grid/kanban views
• Filters - Filter the data on this page
