The Kanban board view is a visual, intuitive way to manage your deal pipeline. With drag-and-drop functionality, you can quickly move deals between stages, oversee team workload, and identify bottlenecks.

Working with the Kanban Board

1. Open Kanban View

Navigate to Deals in the main menu. The Kanban view is the default view that shows immediately.

View layout:

  • Columns: Each column represents a pipeline stage
  • Cards: Each card is an individual deal
  • Headers: Column headers show stage name and deal count
  • Colors: Optional color coding per deal priority or type

2. Read Deal Cards

Each deal card shows important information at-a-glance:

  • Deal name: Title of the deal
  • Contact name: Primary buyer/seller
  • Deal value: Expected transaction value
  • Property count: Number of linked properties
  • Owner avatar: Assigned agent
  • Closing date: Expected closing date (if set)
  • Days in stage: How long deal has been in current stage

3. Drag-and-Drop Deals

Move deals between stages with intuitive drag-and-drop:

To move a deal:

  1. Click and hold on deal card
  2. Drag card to new stage column
  3. Drop card in target column
  4. System updates deal status automatically
  5. Team receives real-time nietification

Visual feedback:

  • Card highlights during drag
  • Drop zone indicators in columns
  • Smooth animation during move
  • Toast nietification on successful update

4. Card Ordering Within Columns

Within each column you can also reorder deals to indicate priority:

  • Drag deals up/down within same column
  • Top position = highest priority
  • System remembers your preferred ordering
  • Ordering is per-user (teamlids see their own order)

Sorting options:

  • Manual: Your custom drag-drop order
  • By value: Highest value deals first
  • By date: Oldest/newest deals first
  • By closing date: Soonest closing first

5. Filtering and Searching

Filter the Kanban view to stay focused:

Filter options:

  • By owner: Show only your deals or specific teamlid
  • By value range: Filter by deal value (€50K-€100K, etc.)
  • By closing date: Deals closing within specific timeframe
  • By property type: Filter by linked property types

Search functionality:

  • Search by deal name, contact name, property reference
  • Real-time filtering as you type
  • Highlighted matches in cards

6. Quick Actions from Cards

Each deal card has quick action buttons for common tasks:

  • View details: Click card to open full deal view
  • Edit: Quick edit icon for fast updates
  • Add niete: Add niete directly without full view
  • Schedule viewing: Quick meeting scheduling
  • Send email: Direct email to contact
  • More actions: Menu with additional options

Hover actions:

  • Hover over card for quick preview
  • See recent activities
  • View linked properties
  • See teamlids

You can immediately drag the deal back to the previous stage. The system tracks all status changes in the activity log, so you can always see what happened and when. For extra safety, you can also use the undo function immediately after the move.

Yes! You can add custom pipeline stages via Settings > Pipeline Configuration. New stages automatically appear as columns in the Kanban view. You can also rename stages, reorder them, and set business rules per stage.
