Understanding Dashboard Overview

Learn how to use the dashboard as your control center and get immediate insights into your key metrics and activities.

The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log into Tesoro CRM. It's designed as your central control center - one place where you immediately see what's happening in your business, where your attention is needed, and how you're performing.

This guide explains how to read, interpret and use the dashboard to make better decisions.

Main Sections

The dashboard consists of several sections that each serve a specific purpose:

1. KPI Cards (Top)

The large numbers at the top show your key metrics:

  • Deals (This Month) - Number of active deals this month with % change vs. previous period
  • New Leads - New leads this period
  • Avg Deal Value - Average value of your deals
  • Time on Market - Average time properties are on the market

The green/red percentages show if you're performing better or worse than last month.

2. Date Filter

Top right you can select the period:

  • Today
  • This Week
  • This Month
  • This Quarter
  • This Year
  • All Time
  • Custom Range (choose dates yourself)

All data on the dashboard adjusts based on your selection.

3. Alerts & nietifications

Important nietifications that need your attention:

  • Deals stuck in the same stage too long
  • Follow-ups you've missed
  • Properties with outdated information
  • New leads niet yet qualified

4. Deal Pipeline Overview

Visual representation of your deals per stage with total value. Click on a stage to go directly to the Kanban board.

5. Recent Activity

Chronological list of latest activities in your CRM:

  • New contacts added
  • Deals changing stages
  • Emails sent/received
  • Tasks completed
  • Properties updated

6. Team Performance (for managers)

If you manage a team, you see here:

  • Performance per teamlid
  • Number of deals per person
  • Conversion rates
  • Activity levels

Pro Tip: Use Trends, niet Absolute Numbers

Customizing Dashboard

You can customize the dashboard to your work style:

Add/Remove Widgets

Click the gear icon in the top right to choose which sections you want to see. Hide widgets you don't use to maintain focus.

Adjust Layout

Drag widgets to reorder them. Put the most important metrics at the top where you see them immediately.

Set Default Period

In Settings you can set the default time range. Many users choose 'This Month' because that's the most relevant period for daily work.

Configure nietifications

Determine which alerts you want to see:

  • Deals without activity > X days
  • Leads niet qualified > Y days
  • Properties without updates > Z weeks

Go to Settings → nietifications to set these up.

Quick Actions From Dashboard

The dashboard is niet just an overview - you can also perform actions directly:

+ Buttons

Top right you'll find quick links:

  • + Contact - Add a new contact directly
  • + Lead - Create a new lead
  • + Deal - Start a new deal
  • + Property - Add a property
  • + Task - Create a task

Clickable KPIs

Each KPI card is clickable and takes you to the relevant module:

  • Click Deals → Deal Kanban board
  • Click New Leads → Leads module filtered on 'New'
  • Click Time on Market → Properties sorted by age

Alert Actions

For each alert you can take immediate action:

  • View Deal - Open the deal details
  • Mark as Read - Hide the alert
  • Snooze - Remind me later

Search Bar

At the top of the dashboard you'll find the global search. Type a name, address or reference number and jump directly to the right record.

If you just started, your dashboard is empty until you've added your first contacts, properties or deals. Start by adding your first records - the metrics will update automatically.
chevron_right How often are the dashboard numbers updated?
Real-time! As soon as you add a deal, qualify a lead, or update a property - you see this immediately reflected in your dashboard metrics. There's no delay or refresh needed.
chevron_right Can I export my dashboard to PDF?
Yes, click 'Export' in the top right and choose PDF. This is useful for monthly reports to your manager or teamlids. You can also set up automatic weekly/monthly reports via Settings → Reports.
