Basic Search Functionality
Tesoro offers three ways to search contacts:
1. Global Search (Main Search Bar)
The search bar at the top searches through all resources:
- Type a name, email or phone number
- You see real-time suggestions as you type
- Results show Contacts, Leads, Deals, Properties
- Click on a result to go directly to the detail page
2. Contact List Search
In the Contacts module itself:
- At the top of the list is a search field
- This searches only within contacts
- Searches in: name, email, phone, address, tags
- Results filter directly in the list
3. Advanced Filters
Powerful filters for complex queries:
- Combine multiple criteria
- Save searches as 'Saved Views'
- Use operators like 'contains', 'equals', 'greater than'
- Filter on 30+ fields simultaneously
Using Advanced Filters

Step 1: Open Filter Panel
- Go to Contacts list
- Click the Filter icon (funnel) in the top right
- The filter panel slides open on the right side
You now see all available filter options grouped by category.

Step 2: Select Filter Criteria
Available Filter Categories:
Basic Info:
- Name (contains, equals)
- Email (contains, equals)
- Phone (contains)
Status & Organization:
- Status (Active, Inactive, Won, Lost)
- Tags (select multiple)
- Owner (assigned agent)
Location:
- City (equals, contains)
- Country
- Address (contains)
- Coordinates (within radius)
Dates:
- Created date (before, after, between)
- Updated date (before, after, between)
- Last contact date
Custom Fields:
- All custom fields you've created
- Filter operators depending on field type

Step 3: Combine Filters (AND/OR Logic)
Tesoro supports advanced filter logic:
AND Logic (default):
Contacts must meet ALL criteria:
- Status = Active
- AND Tags contains 'VIP'
- AND City = 'Amsterdam'
Result: Only active VIP contacts in Amsterdam
OR Logic:
Contacts meet ONE OF the criteria:
- Tags contains 'Hot Lead'
- OR Tags contains 'Warm Lead'
Result: All hot or warm leads
Complex Combinations:
Group filters for complex queries:
- (Status = Active AND City = 'Amsterdam')
- OR (Status = Active AND City = 'Rotterdam')

Step 4: Save Your Search as Saved View
Save frequently used filters for later:
- Set up your filters as desired
- Click Save View at the bottom of the filter panel
- Give your view a name (e.g., 'Amsterdam VIP Clients')
- Click Save
Your saved view now appears:
- In the quick menu at the top of the list
- As a one-click filter option
- For all teamlids (if you want)
Manage saved view:
- Edit view: Change filters and click 'Update View'
- Rename view: Click the pencil icon
- Delete view: Click the trash icon
- Set as default: Make this view your default display

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I search on multiple tags at once?
Yes, in the filter panel you can select multiple tags. By default this works as OR (contacts with tag A OR tag B). For AND logic (contacts with tag A AND tag B), use the advanced filter builder.
Are saved views shared with my team?
You can choose. When saving a view you can indicate whether it's 'Private' (only you) or 'Shared' (entire team). Admins can see and manage all views.
